Water Bottle

The first item I selected is a thermal insulated stainless steel water bottle that I use daily. When choosing this bottle, I had several considerations: would it keep my water cold, would it leak, is it lightweight, convenient to carry, and easy to drink from? Additionally, I factored in its aesthetic appeal. After evaluating many options, I settled on this one because it met all of my functional and visual needs.

These photos highlight the cap, which controls the key functions of the bottle. Two essential features are at play here. The first is the button that triggers the mechanics, opening the drinking spout, which is concealed when not in use. The second is the side lock that either enables or disables the button's function. These two elements work together to prevent accidental spills if the bottle is in a bag or purse. The design allows the user complete control to unlock the bottle only when needed, ensuring security against leaks.

In this image, the cap handle is visible. The handle's function is to allow the bottle to be clipped onto other items for easy carrying, so the user doesn't always have to hold it. The handle, designed in a contrasting color, is an excellent example of intuitive design. It visually signals its function, making it clear without instruction. The simplicity and accessibility of the clip are further benefits, particularly for users with limited hand strength or mobility, as it provides a hands-free carrying solution.

The slight indentations in the bottle's body are shaped to fit comfortably in hand, ensuring a secure grip while carrying or drinking.
